With the global waste management market projected to reach USD 530 billion by 2025 at a CAGR of 8.53%, the fellowship addressed the pressing need for businesses to align their operations with sustainable practices. Sessions included “Financing Landscape for Circular Economy Businesses,” in-depth business model reviews, where participants engaged in one-on-one evaluations of their current ventures. Expert reviewers, including Adejumoke Awolumate, Jonathan Ikeolumba, Mark Onoja, and “Growing in a VUCA Market: Best Practices and Mistakes to Avoid in Scaling Your Business Ventures,” which was a case study-based discussion that focused on scaling businesses within volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) markets. Through these interactive and highly focused sessions, the fellowship provided participants with the insights, practical knowledge, and support needed to turn their waste management businesses into sustainable and impactful ventures.

The fellowship was marked by active participation, deep engagement, and collaborative learning. The programme also underscored the importance of fostering a network of like-minded entrepreneurs.
