Philanthropy in Nigeria is largely driven by families, high-net-worth individuals, and well-heeled private foundations. While the intent is strong, many foundations struggle with governance, succession planning, and sustainability, which limits their long-term impact.
The Sustainable Impact Philanthropy Programme (SIPP) is designed to address these gaps by equipping founders, executive leadership, and foundation leaders with leadership capacity, governance tools, and strategic partnerships needed to secure a lasting legacy.
Delivered by the Lagos Business School Sustainability Centre, this programme blends global best practices with the Nigerian context, ensuring participants gain actionable insights to transform philanthropic vision into impact that endures across generations. This cycle of the programme is supported by Ford Foundation West Africa.
